The challenge

Four markets, two social ad platforms, campaigns built by someone no longer there, and a fragile measurement chain: the Meta pixel ran through a Segment setup being sunset, the Meta account had not spent since March, the bridge between LinkedIn forms and HubSpot had not delivered a lead since May, and the budget tracker showed €0 of spend on day 24 of the month. At first sort, 145 of the account's 167 campaigns, €14,080 of spend, belonged to other group entities.

The approach

Takeover through measurement. Inventory of active campaigns per market with budget and last change, pixel and Conversions API audit before and after the migration to GTM, repair of the LinkedIn Lead Gen to HubSpot bridge, UTM redesign down to the creative so the HubSpot to Salesforce sync finally carries attribution through to the opportunity. In parallel, I connected Optimzd to their accounts and built a dedicated pacing tracker: committed budget, actual spend and end-of-month projection, split the way Spendesk asked (demand capture vs demand gen, awareness vs conversion, per market and per campaign), read every week in the paid review.

The results

4 paid markets taken over without a gap in delivery

Zero delivery gap during the takeover. LinkedIn form leads flow into HubSpot again. The dashboard replaced a broken budget file and gives Growth and field marketing each their own line. First campaigns launched on my own: event InMail, CFO breakfast, lead gen on a prompt library, and the framing of a ChatGPT Ads launch. The tracking workstream became, in the client's words, the most impactful project of the engagement.
